Today I had the pleasure of making genuine ultramarine blue oil paint. The pigment, powdered lapis lazuli, creates one of the most sought after blue paints in all of art history. It is a paint that Vermeer used extensively.
While I’m not going to share the paint (it’s expensive!), I will share these nearly pornographic photos of the the paint-making process.
I see the clipping in the first one but what’s the second one
i actually dont see the clipping in the first one?? but the second one elsa’s braid phases right through her arm when she brings it forward. not over her shoulder. literally through her arm
the thumb clips through the shirt in the first one
budget for Tangled: $260 million
budget for Brave: $185 million
budget for Wreck it Ralph: $165 million
budget for Monster’s University: $200 million
so a) that is actually pretty low budget and b) you don’t like a couple errors in a brilliant movie that took a lot of work then make the goddamn movie yourself
wait no I thought I was done but I wasn’t
how would you like it if you spent hours a day working on a movie where you had to draw thousands of frames then try to put it together perfectly so it flowed and was visually pleasing just to get on a stupid fucking website and see people making fun of it and pointing it out? what if I showed up at your door and found everything you have ever written or drawn and pointed out every little error? you fucking idiots sitting there at home pointing out errors. you know in the second gif it wouldn’t have flowed as well had it not clipped through her her shoulder and you all would have complained about that so shut the fuck up wow
People actually care about that and not the movie? what
